Things You’ll Need

  • 1 cup of brewed hot Mushroom Ground Coffee
  • 4 oz. of unsweetened chocolate (bar)
  • 2 cups of flour
  • 1 tsp of baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp of salt
  • 3/4 cup of cacao powder
  • 1 packet Mushroom Cacao with Reishi
  • 2 cups of sugar
  • 1/2 cup of chocolate chips

  1. Preheat oven to 350F. Prepare a square baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, pour your hot coffee over chocolate chips. Let it sit for a minute and then mix. It should be melted through.
  3. In another medium bowl, combine the rest of your ingredients except chocolate chips. Mix your chocolate mixture into the dry ingredients until well combined.
  4. Pour into your prepared pan and place into the oven for 40 minutes. Keep an eye on it if the sides start looking baked and hard. You don't want it to be overcooked.
  5. Remove it from the oven and let it sit for an hour to cool.
  6. Remove from the pan and let it sit for another hour on a cooling rack before cutting.
